Often times, the application of too much nitrous at the starting line can ruin a good launch. The NOS Dual Shot Cheater nitrous system is designed with this in mind. It injects nitrous oxide into your engine in two stages. The first stage is an adjustable 100-150 HP, turned on by a throttle-activated microswitch to allow the car to leave the line under full traction. Then, with the tires fully hooked up, the second stage is activated with a push button switch that provides another adjustable power increase of 150-250 HP. SpaceCamp shares a striking similarity to Ron Howard's Apollo 13--it's about NASA trying to bring some people down from outer space, except in this case 13 represents the median age of those in danger. Kate Capshaw plays Andie, who throws off the curve by being on the high end of that age scale. She's always a bridesmaid, but never a bride in the shuttle program, an astronaut doomed to play wet nurse to a gaggle of kids enrolled in NASA's summer program. Of course, out of all these teeming hordes of children (there don't appear to be any particular qualifying standards to attend the camp), the film focuses on five. Kathryn (Lea Thompson) is a hopeful pilot who wants to be at the controls of the shuttle one day. Tate Donovan plays Kevin, a daft young carouser who is supposed to be so incorrigible he's winning (he's not). Kelly Preston is Tish, a valley girl with a photographic memory, and Larry B. Scott is Rudy. Rudy's there to meet the Hollywood quota for capsule diversification, but neither he nor Trish does much. Most oddly, Joaquin Phoenix is Max, the young Star Wars nut whose brain and fast friendship with a NASA robot get them all sent into orbit. It's unfortunate that a lot of topical swear words are peppered throughout SpaceCamp, as it could operate as a diverting night's watch for the young astro-nut in your house. Director Harry Winer, who rose from television and sank back to television after this film stiffed over the summer of 1986, directs in 20-minute blocks like he's pacing himself for a commercial break. Once the embarrassing, extremely '80s, opening 40 minutes are dispensed with, however, and the crew accidentally gets blasted into space, the effort to return home is involving, even if it is pretty silly. SpaceCamp won't win any merit badges for script writing, acting, or direction but it's got the right li'l Camp NASA spirit. --Keith Simanton

I'm having soo much trouble with iTunes. When I tried to resync my iPod Touch an error message kept popping up saying reinstall iTunes so I did. Then I got a reject message saying some registry files were missing, another cd burning software program was downloaded, etc and reinstall. Well I finally figured out after reading numerous sites it has to do with the upper and lower filters so I fixed that and the error message went away. Now when I try to launch iTunes the page doesnt load properly. I can still see my desktop wallpaper behind the page that is trying to load and I cant tell what tabs say what, etc. Does anyone know what may be causing this? (more...)

Well about a year ago I heard a rumor that Xbox was going to create a new controller with a resdesigned D-PAD to replace the current D-Pad which is a completely unacceptable, clunkly monstrousity (it's 4-way, as opposed to 8-way like every single other controller made in recent times) . This was due to complaints from users because it's close to impossible to play any fighting game with the D-Pad, and you're forced to use the analog stick, which is less than ideal. Anyway, does ANYONE know what talking about? And if so, does anyone have any info on when and if this will even come out? The single bit of info I have is that fact that it would only be launched in Europe or something, and eventually come to the US? (more...)

Most will say because he didn?t want to show vegeta he had surpassed him again but really he feared that it would drive vegeta even more to ascend and surpass goku?(the main reason vegeta went ssj1 is because he saw goku ascend, that?s what drives him, the fact that a 3rd class warrior can be more powerful than the prince of all saiyans ) So hears my prediction of the fight(the fight is between goku and vegeta there is nothing at stake which usually drives goku to ascend) : first its an even fight then goku finds out there is no other way to end this so he goes all out,, he pumps vegeta, ,the fact that goku is so stronger will absolutely make vegeta rage and go berserk and ascend to a new level far greater than goku,,vegeta then kills goku with a huge lighting fast combo and energy blast,,vegeta never holds back and wouldn?t hesitate to kill him at all.. I think it does. For example, if Mexico was shooting rockets at the U.S. Im sure the U.S. would imediatly attack Mexio, not wait unil 10 people died and said okay lets have a treaty. I think that Hamas is using the Palestinian people as a human shield and then blames Israel for defending itself. Why would you put rocket launchers in the middle of a city? Of course that area is gonna be bombed to prevent the rockets from firing. Hamas doesn't care about the people. If it did then it wouldn't launch rockets in cities and densley populated area. Israel has no choice but to invade and stop the rocket attacks. The civilian casualties are hard to prevent. Here is the way i see it. If there is a weed in the densly populated grass, and it is bothering you, you will go and rip it out, and doing so, some of the good grass will come out with it. If Israel lifts the blockade, then Hamas will be stronger, with new technology, maybe even missles. If Israel can't prevent the attacks now, image the casualties later. (more...)
