Standard Deviants School - Chemistry, Program 1 - The Basics (Classroom Edition)

This video Cliff's Notes gives infotainment a good name as it breaks down the Bard's early tragedies for college (and some high school) students. In a breezy and often funny manner, the Standard Deviants cast gives historical context to the plays and thumbnail sketches of the characters, and lays out the groundwork of the plots. Comic effects include tallying up the gore (
Titus Andronicus: five stabbings, three chopped-off hands...) and clips of a haughty professor--the kind one would expect on such a tape--making pointlessly esoteric comments. In addition to looking at Shakespeare's influences as he wrote these plays (Seneca, Ovid, and such), the 90-minute video lesson evaluates them, giving students a head start in class. Shakespearean actors in costume perform key scenes, and frequent use of charts helps students keep track of the various points made. This academic series is designed by a combination of educators and writers to present complicated material in a simple and engaging format--and it works.

Open Question: i feel quite depressed at the moment for some silly reasons?
i just feel depressed and cant think of anything that im looking forward to
Im doing quite bad in two of my AS subjects and have had to drop one with the other doing extremely bad. I keep having good memory's about my grandad (that sadly passed away a few months ago) which always makes me sad
I feel that if i dont do good in these AS's my whole life is going to be mucked up and i especially dont want to re do a year or anything.
and i think that my mum is just so fed up with me about these essays ive had to do for my media studies. My mum has helped me a lot through my GCSE's and she said that that was it after GCSE's but she has been keeping an eye on my media because she knows how bad ive been doing. Well she was reading a few of my essays and i can just tell she thinks im just so stupid, and having a sister that is perfect in every way is so annoying.
Also ( i know your all just going to say its a teenage crush but..) over the past year ive really liked this girl and now we are pretty good mates but she is going out with one of my mates so i cant say or do anything. Every time i like a girl it always seems to go pair shaped.
Once this year is over i may or may not ever get to see her again
depending on how my AS results go i may be moving to college instead of 6th form so i can get more of a physical learning education.
i just feel sad and i keep listening to sad music which makes me even more depressed.
sorry for grammar and punctuation, im not stupid i just cant be arsed.

Open Question: Can I move to California with my 4 year old?
I have a court date on Jan. 7th to deal with custodial issues. My son's father has filed for joint physical/legal custody and to stop or reduce child support, as well as parenting time - he wants more of it. He has paid his child support once since the order was filed, that was in 2007. We were living together for 9 months in 2008, but the order was never stopped, some paperwork got lost and it didnt go through. So he has a large arrearage on back child support payments, both from the 9 months where we lived together and the 6 or 7 months before that where he wasnt paying. I currently live with my parents in their two bedroom trailer, with four adults - five including myself, two dogs and three cats. My son and I sleep in the livingroom and it's very stressful here. I have a great opportunity in California. There is a trailer waiting for me to move in, I'd have a 24/7 babysitter [[my father]] so I could go to school and enhance my education, and it would give me the fresh start I desperately need. But my son, who will be 4 in March of 09, would have to still visit his father here in Michigan, unless his father moved to California too.
I guess I just need any kind of advice on what action to take, what would happen if I was granted the right to move my son to California with me, etc.

Open Question: what do i wear to a yoga class?
hi i'm going to take yoga during my spring semester at my community college. i've never taken any sort of physical education class at my school and i have no idea what to wear. i have sweats and tshirts, but i'm not sure if its what your supposed to wear. i've seen pictures of what other women wear like those tight fit tank tops, but i'm not a fan of wearing anything tight like that, and plus i don't like the way my armpits look so I would much rather wear something with sleeves. plus what kind of underwear do you other women wear so that you don't get VPL? and since yoga is done barefoot can i wear any kind of shoes to the class? what about socks, would it be weird to wear them?
pictures would be awesome thanks
