Open Question: How do I change the setting of an Ipod 2nd generation Nano from Windows to Mac?
I just inherited an Ipod 1.1.3 4G Nano, and it will not register on my Mac... I have Itunes version 7.0. It charges, but the computer doesn't even recognize that anything is plugged in. How can I fix this and register the Nano so that I could start uploading music onto it? (more...)

Open Question: Why are the line in/line out connectors on my computer no longer working?
A while ago I plugged a record player into the line in of my computer. I was able to record vinyl onto my computer this way; however, a couple of days after, my sound stopped working, with only the record player producing any sound through the speakers. I have tried reinstalling sound drivers and using different speakers to no success. I then looked at the connector sensing for the speakers; my computer no longer registers the speakers being plugged into the line out, and when I try and detect them it shows error messages saying the detection has failed for every in/out port. Does anyone know how to fix this? (more...)

Open Question: I need some help with my I-pod.?
Kayy I just got it today, and it is my first I-pod brand one (before I had some crappy Sansa one) and it is an 8GB nano (=D its purple!! XD lol :p) but I'm not aloud to use I-Tunes (idk why) , but I wanna put the music from my media library on my PC (and also CD's) onto it. BUT I CANT FIGURE IT OUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME! Like its not even registering on my computer. it just comes up with the thing that says "G:\" and thats it. How do I do it? the directions it comes with are CRAP! :p Help!? I was talking to my dad the other day about getting one (actually trying to get him to buy it for me :p) and he said that with his, he has to convert it and then it works...but idk how to do that....thats what i wanna do. Open Question: SD card is coming up as empty?
I got a new phone for Christmas, and bought an SD card to put my music on it. An employee at Best Buy helped me pick out the phone and SD card, so I know that they work well together. The SD card came without directions, and the phone mannual doesn't mention how to fix this problem, so I really appreciate your help. I put the SD card into its adapter and into my laptop, where I copied and pasted the songs from my "my music" file onto the SD card. It had more than enough room to store them. After they all loaded in, I disconnected the adapter. Then I put it back in and opened up the folder, and it showed all of my songs, so I am positive that they transfered. However, when I put the SD card into my phone (and it does register that there is an SD card), my phone says it is empty. How can I get my songs to show up? Thanks! Not Verizon, I have AT&T. Open Question: how do i download songs onto my iPod nano with out deleting the ones on there already?
i had a computer and i registered my iPod onto that computer with iTunes, and downloaded 700 songs onto my iPod, now i have a new computer with 100 song that i want to download onto my iPod, but when i try the only two options it gives me are to erase all 700 songs so i can dowload the new ones, or to add the songs from my ipod to the iTunes library, but when i click on that it says that this computer isnt authorized or something like that. but i clicked store>authorize computer, so i know this computer is authorized. how can i add new songs to my iPod and KEEP the ones already on there? Open Question: Why does 02 say I have registered when I have not?
I went onto the 02 website to register as I got a new phone a while back and never registered. I typed in my number as it asks you and clicked register and it said I have already registered with that number but I never registered and now it won't let me register again even. I looked in the "Help and Support" section and there is nothing to help with this problem and I even tried joining the 02 forum to see if there was an answer to my problem there, but it wouldn't let me join either. I tried calling 02 themselves and they said that they can not help me with the situation. How do sort it out? (more...)

Open Question: I need help putting pictures from my SD Memory Card on to my dell laptop!?
My laptop is a dell inspiron 1525 and i put my SD Memory Card into the only slot that i could find and i don't know how to get the pictures off the card and onto my laptop. I registers that it is in there but nothing pops up. The only thing that indicated that something is in there is a little picture in the bottom right hand of the screen that shows a plug in thing with a check next to it. When I click on it, something pops up but it doesn't show any pictures it just tells me about what is plugged in! I need help!!! Ok so I did what you guys were saying and I clicked on the thing to open up my pictures and it will load then something will pop up and say F:\ is not accesible. The request can not be preformed because of an I/O device error. Do you know what I have to do? (more...)

just wondering if there are community colleges that provide education before moving onto an expensive 4 yr college? and which colleges offer a BA that matches req. in becoming an RD? when i try to join onto youtube it doesn't ask me for my account type, and also it always says: "Sorry. Based on the information you have submitted to us, you are ineligible to register for YouTube.com." and do you have to be atleast 13 or 18 to join please help! yeah i tried lying about my age but it still says that stupid jubberish :( (more...)

Open Question: Ipod touch games.......?
Is there any way of getting games onto the ipod touch without registering or "jailbreaking" it because i don't want to submit a credit card number and all that and i don't want to screw up my ipod with the "jailbreak thinga ma do".....ideas... To the first comment (can't be bothered typing out your name sorry) I know but even with the free games i can't get them coz you have to register!!
