Open Question: ELBOW PAIN after doing dumbbell curls?
i have been weight training for a few years now and have started focusing a lot on dumbbell curls, but lately i have had elbow soreness afterward, it seems to actually be worse when i rest an extra day or so. it isn't severe pain at all, more sore than anything, i don't do extreme weight or anything usually between 35 and 50 pounds, sometimes it feels fine, other times it bothers me, advice? Open Question: Is ARMY the best branch?
The "BCT" portion of 11X OSUT (11B, or 11C) is thrown across the entire OSUT, Infantry are trained in "Advanced" Soldiering Skills, not Basic, but advanced, they go more "into depth" with things than the other BCTs. (Hense why there isn't any "graduation" until the Turning Blue Ceremony) When they go into a training topic, they covered the Basics in it, and than went on to the Infantry Advance components of it. Like Weapons Training, they took it further than just qualifications, (a LOT further) etc. When they go and cover NBC (CBRN now) training, they set you out in combat training (full combat training with the lasers and everything) in NBC gear, from creating concealed positions to mounting full flung assaults... all in all, from day 0 to the very last day, there wasn't any break between "BCT" and "AIT" because they taught the skills interchangibly, mixed, etc. throughout the entire thing... Infantry=Advanced Soldier Skills, yes, they go over Basic Soldiering Skills, but they teach it totally differently, because they melt in Infantry training while the first nine weeks are still going... Everytime I hear someone assume another branch is greater than the ARMY - I think about my $40,000 enlistment money, newborn daughter and how she will have a great childhood through this troubled economy as i protect and serve our great country. Plus, ARMY Infantry OSUT is wayyyy different and harder than normal basic/boot training. BCT/BOOT teaches basic combat skills as infantry OSUT guys get a ton more combat training and the pt standards, road marches and shooting standards are higher. Does this prove that the ARMY is the best branch? I accept all constructive critisism. (more...)

Open Question: Does your body still rebuild and repair your muscles from a heavy weight workout when your cutting fat?
specifically I'm not an extreme diet i eat 4 to 5 small healthy meals a day along with about 120g of whey protien supplement and I run 2 to 3 miles 3 or 4 times a week. I also do heavy weight training 4 times a week for about an hour. So will my body repair my muscles from that heavy weight even though i'm losing fat? (more...)

Open Question: Im 19 and working full time. I dont want to work full time on winter vacation but my parents are making me.?
I used to work at a coffee company, but now i work on a computer, basically data entree for my dads company. I dont want to do this job anymore, and i liked the part time night jobs rather then desk day jobs. How do i tell him i dont want to work here anymore? what should i say. His workers trained me already and have done a lot more to help me. I just cant stand working here with all these professionals when im in college (15 units) and undeclared.
