Open Question: My Poem. Could you please give me some criticism?
I?m sorry. There is always something That?s stored away Screaming to bring What I?ve needed to say I?m sorry. I am. You?re the only one (Or maybe a few) Who?s ever begun To listen me through I can easily trust And open to my heart Like the words, they must Quickly depart And also the notion That you actually care Stirs up emotion And brings some repair I can?t even write out Why it?s this way Just something about Being okay I?m sorry. I always have something. It may not even seem Troubling that much Something to be screamed Or something like such But you listen to me That?s so weird You actually see My hidden, the feared I?m sorry. ---- I'm 14. When I said criticism, I meant constructive, to make this better of course. also, tell me if it makes sense. if i should add/take away any stanzas. its for this guy, 10 years older than me (no i odnt have a crush on him, im taken haha) but he's like my big brother. or second dad. its weird. really weird. and he's like the only person who talks to me, and actually listens and cares. and im sorry to him to be a bother, i guess it what the poem is saying. butyeah Also, after the last "I'm sorry" should I add, "And I thank you." or not? Open Question: What car would you get between the 06-07 scion tc or the 06-07 mitsubishi eclipse ?
Ok i know this question has been asked a million times on this, so let me be the million and one person to ask and hopefully for the last time. Thing is , i need to buy another care and is between those 2 cars and i just dont know which one to get. I don't know much about cars and so on so i would like some decent answers on which one i should get and why, my third choice was taken out of the equation when i read up on it on the kbb website, thrid choice was an audi tt but alot of people complained about how often it needed to be fixed for something The factors that most concern me are -Realibilty -Insurance cost -How much would it cost for maintance and repairs -which one is "built better " -which one of the two do you think looks "better" -which one will last me longer in the long run for those who would ask , i live in florida , and would like an automatic just incase those things are taken into consideration tours making my decision. i know this has been asked a million times but i really need to just settle for one or the other so please help me out thank you in advance for those who answer. Open Question: SAMSUNG LCD went out after 9months, repair guy came out twice & still couldnt fix it, what should i do?
has anyone gotten a new TV from samsung after its been broke & the repair guy couldnt fix it & how long did it take? this is really irritating especially since the repair guy doesnt speak eng well & he's ordered the parts all @ diff times so now he has to come out a 3rd time to replace the screen, it wouldve been more efficient to just order them all @ the same time so i wouldve only wasted 1 day waiting for this appt. has anyone exchanged a TV to circuit city after 9months? i kinda doubt that would wk now since they've filed for bankruptcy but then again since thats the case y would they care. i just think this is ridiculous that i have to wait for a 3rd appt and the guy will prob fix it now when thats when i need him not to so i can just get a new 1 from samsung. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG AGAIN & I ADVISE YOU TO DO THE SAME. (more...)

Resolved Question: Auto repair shops...?
Okay so it snowed for like the first time in 4 years...lol. and I live in Texas. I was going to work after it snowed early in the morning and i hit black ice and could not stop and hit the back of a truck. i was only going like 35 when i hit. it was all taking care of. and i knew it was at least 2 maybe 3 grand worth of damage because of the axel and my grill...so we got a rental from the insurance and my car (jeep wrangler sport) is in the shop. I would say it has been almost a month. Last week they told us it would be 7500 $ and they were almost done. I understand because a lot of places know if the insurance is paying for it they will take their time and charge whatever they can. BUT...We drove by the shop on new years day to see if it was outside and it is in worse shape than what i did to it and we took pictures and compared them and it is noticeable!! I am freaking out and am angry...what will happen? Do you think it will get fixed or what is gonna happen? We email the photos to our adjuster so he could compare we haven't heard word yet. I just got the 2006 jeep which i love so much in september and we are making payments...UGH give me advice or helpful tips or anything that has happened to you before!!?? thanks!! yes i am sure it is mine that we saw. it has MY license plate and a metallica sticker on the back and a phil collins sticker on the doors. of course we approved everything before hand. the insurance had us pick a shop and then the insurance contacted them to get prices and how long and then they mailed us the check for the repairs and we have to pay the deductable which is 500. no...when a car is to be repaired it is not to be destroyed while they repair it that is retarded. On the passenger side all I had that was "damage" on that side was a little dent between the door and the grill and what we saw was it was all bent in on that side like they ripped the skirt upward which is not necessary. (husband ex mechanic) and the time they tell you and the price is the final that is why their are adjusters and mechanics to observe and give you quotes. they cant keep changing their minds PLUS they lied anyways they told us the body work (paint and dents) was repaired and ready all they had left was undercarriage and they would be done. we drove by and it was not what they said. so we know they can lie. IT IS A JEEP THEY CAN UN-BOLT ALMOST EVERY PART OF THE CAR AND NOT BEND AND SMASH IT UP MORE TO FIX IT (more...)

Open Question: had car repaired, now coolant leak?
i bought a used car, brought it to the shop to get it checked out. They diagnosed more than 2,000 in repairs. I had the air sensor, wheel bearings, and diagnosis done for 1,000. The rest I will take care of bit by bit (900.00 for before and after catalytic converter exhaust). I got it back, the check engine light still on, they said it was because "it probably has a different computer system than what it originally had, it says secondary air flow system, and your car dosent have one"). Also, this took 3 days due to "employees being sick", and when I merely called to inquire, as I was out a car, I felt like I was bugging them, like they were really doing me a favor in their circumstances, not a good feeling forme. Also, the coolant warning light was on.I thought it was due to the cold weather, but even with the engine warmed up, it stayed on. I called them, they said to bring it in. I brought it in, they took it in and out w/in 5minutes, and said "it was just down a cup of coolant". The warninglight was off for a day, then back on. Now a couple days later, I notice where I park there is bright green fluid in the snow. I have a coolant leak. Its as though I feel I am bothering these mechanics...What should I do? I didnt have a leak before... (more...)

Open Question: Need help and advice! My adventures with my PSP-3001. Stuck pixel?
I've been having my Piano Black PSP-2001 since November 2007, and it has never once caused me a problem, a concern, or anything else, it has functioned superbly. So as soon as the Piano Black PSP-3000 Bundle pack was released (3 or so weeks ago), I purchased it two days after the release for the microphone feature. The same very day I received it, the screen died on me, system would work, but the screen would appear off. So I sent that PSP back to Amazon.com and they sent me a new one. I received the new PSP-3001 from Amazon.com about 2 weeks ago or so and everything worked fine. Now this past Friday, I noticed a stuck pixel (blue color) in the middle of my screen while playing Everyday Shooter. So I quit that game, started up Street Fighter Alpha and after a few minutes of play the stuck pixel resumed working. Then, Saturday morning, while playing Syphon Filter Combat Ops, I noticed that same pixel is stuck on blue again! I quit the game, started up Street Fighter again, but this time the stuck pixel won't go away. I tried playing Midway Arcade Treasures, Everyday Shooter, WorkTimeFun, NHL 07, Mega Man Maverick Hunter and a few other games and the stuck pixel still won't go away. I also watched few cartoons and other videos on it. I downloaded the pixel fixer mp4 videos (a 50 something second one and another is about 20 minutes or so) and ran them for a while. The stuck pixel isn't going away. The stuck pixel appears black on a red screen, while it functions perfectly on the blue and the green. On backgrounds, [Theme Settings -> Colors] the stuck pixel varies color from a very light baby blue to black (possibly dark dark blue) I called Sony, and a very unhelpful customer service rep, literally read (at the level of a first grader) to me something about how it won't affect my game play. After telling him that this stuck pixel was right in the middle of the screen and is annoying to look at they offered to repair/replace my PSP if this continues for another week or so. Are there any other methods I can try to fix the stuck pixel? Is it possible a certain component of the pixel is dead and not the whole pixel? Should I send the PSP (under warranty) to Sony and have them take care of it or should I just replace it through Amazon.com again since it's been less than 30 days since the original purchase date? Helpful answers are very much appreciated. Thank you for reading, and thank you in advance if you can answer some or all of my questions. (more...)

Open Question: Place where I had stitches after surgery opened, How should I treat the wound?
I had surgery on my leg and had about a quater size chunk taken out of my leg. The stitches were removed but the whole was not fully repaired under the skin and bursted open. I went to a urgent care and they said they could no re-stitch it but did put binding strips on it to hold it shut a bit and gave me some antibiotics. They didn't cover it or anything which I thought was weird. How should I be caring for this wound. It is about a quater of an inch deep and the same in width. Should I put neosporan on it and cover it or should I just cover and do I need to rinse it out with anything and with what? (more...)

Open Question: My xbox has broken and they are going to charge me to fix it!!?
I bought my xbox on Dec 7th 2007, so ive just about had it over a year. Yesterday i turn the thing on to play it, and a red light started to flash on the bottom right quadrant of the ring of life(E 74- chip error). I don't use it excessively and take alot of care of it, so im not sure why it has done this. Anyway, i rung up microsoft xbox support today and they told me i will have to pay £58 for them to repair it. I know that most products have a 1 year warranty but i have read somewhere that the warranty was extended to 3 years (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=611066) why on earth are they charging me then? how can i argue this to them on the phone?? thanks also someone told me that the 3 year warranty is for when the xbox has 3 red lights and 1 year warranty for 1 red light. Im not sure if this is correct, if it is its ridiculous, why should one fault be different to another when the user hasn't even caused the fault. (more...)

Open Question: Tax Deductions for 2008?
Tax Deductions I would like to know if the following items are tax deductable. If you don't know or may think you might know, please pass. Yes or no answers only. 1. Gas to and from work. (hey doesn't hurt to ask) 2. Auto Repair and Up-keep, interest on car loan. 3. Clothing/Hose/Shoes (job requires and company gave $250 twice a year clothing allowance. Now of course more was spent, because there no way $500 would cover clothing/hose/shoes for a year. 4. Dry cleaning for above mentioned clothing. 5. Purchased home in 12/07. Taxes paid on home is a given, but what about upgrades such as plumbing, electrical, complete rip out of bathroom, floors refinished, dangerous trees cut down (power line ran through one and the other a 70' half dead pine that was just waiting on a good wind). Doesn't hurt to ask this either. House closed on 12/10/2007, too late to claim closing cost, attorney's fees, inspection, points? 6. For medical expenses other than doctor visits, how about dental, prescription drugs, test ordered by doctor. 7. Day care for son yes, but what about special fees paid to daycare for trips, snacks, supplies? Can all be clumped together as "child care" or does it have to be itemized? 8. Son's school fees, plus the list teacher sent home for $250+ supplies (you know the list, 2-boxes of tissue, 4-packs of notebook paper, 50- pencil, etc) 9. Son's school clothes 10. I have a personal on-line trading account. Can I deduct losses in stock market, as well as fees to buy and sale? I know this is a long list, but this is the first that I've idemized. Can I still use the 1040 form, or is that a thing of the past. If anyone knows of a website that will tell you what is and what is not deductable, without alot of double talk, please provide link. The IRS website is awful. Thank you. (more...)
