Resolved Question: question to landlords in wales.?
i have a vacant property to let, a friend has suggested i contact the DSS and allow them to house (less privileged) people on their list.
i know the house will get trashed, at least the rent will get paid, the question is, will the DSS re-decorate the house if it gets trashed?
can anyone also give me details of the housing dept of the DSS in South Wales please.
cheers
Edit - To MIKE L - the house is located in Ebbw Vale, do i contact the local council there? ask for the housing dept?
any advice would be great.

Resolved Question: what would i say in this situation? bc i really have no idea?
Welcome to the Johnson & Wales University Annual Career Conference. As you enter the doors, you will see 200 employers waiting to speak to students like yourself regarding employment opportunities, internships, co-ops, and more. These employers are seeking students in your major to fill open positions and they are waiting for the right candidate to come along.
You are walking through the event when you notice that one company has a long line of students waiting to speak to them. You recognize some of your classmates and walk over to see what the buzz is all about. It is important to note that the best prepared students are those who have done their company research ahead of time to find out about company culture, open positions, and what it takes to qualify as an applicant. While in line, you receive a flier from a recruiter with a list of open positions including full time, part time, internships, summer work opportunities, and more. One position in particular catches your eye and you decide to wait in line to discuss the opportunity with the recruiter.
As you approach the front of the line, you extend your hand to the recruiter and say?:
Please write a 30 second sound bite (1-2 paragraphs) on what you would say to this recruiter and how would you market yourself to ensure that you receive an interview with that recruiter. Feel free to change some of the wording to adapt your sound bite to introduce yourself to potential contacts in other situations, including: group meetings, organizations, in class, or even at a holiday party

Resolved Question: can you help me to write a motivation letter?
I need help to write in a good english a motivation letter. I wrote it but I think there are many mistakes. Can you please check my english? the letter shouldn't be formal; all suggestion are accepted!! thank you!!!
"I am XXXX an undergraduate student of Computer Engineering at the University of Tor Vergata. I am 22 years old and I live in Rome, my hometown.
Since I was a little child I wanted to travel, and spend some time in a foreign country and culture; I am an open-minded girl that likes to meet new people, cultures and styles of life.
This is the main reason because last year I decided to leave Italy and live one year outside my home, and my country. I reached the decision to go to Wrexham thanks the Erasmus program (a Walsh town near Liverpool, UK). Once there, I had the possibility to get an English degree. The old Romans were famous for saying ?Carpe Diem? that means seize the day; opportunities only knock once at our door and I decided to open it.
I spent one year there, one year of hard working and in the same time one year of parties, fun and travels (like the trip around Scotland with only foreign people by motor home).
Now I?m graduated in Computing and Information Technology at the Glynd?r University of Wales and I have a big amount of great experiences en plus!
I think this experience changed me making me see the life from many points of view. I am still in contact with the people that I met there and I spent my summer going to visit them.
As soon as I came back in Italy, I was looking a way to do other foreign experiences and thus I knew XXX, the association that could give me the possibility to learn new staff doing new experiences.
I had a look at the winter courses? list but unfortunately I didn?t find a match between my commitments and my interest about the topic of the courses. This until one week ago when I saw this course; I think that it perfect fits with my interests and moreover this is an excellent opportunity to improve my professional skills and to gain a lot of experiences. Despite what people thinks, I believe that communicating in our future job is not only important, it is fundamental to make carrier in our life.
I am able to work alone or as a part of a team, and I like working with people. I am flexible and open minded, and if it is needed, I enjoy organizing different tasks. I am able to work hard, and I love the new challenges. I am also eager to learn new things.
I hope to take part to this event which is expected to be amazing thus I will finally try the real famous French crêpes and I can let you taste the delicious Italian pasta; I have never been in Paris and this could be my chance? so have I convince you?? I hope so!!
To end how you would say ?à bientot...EN FRANCE!?"

Resolved Question: What were some popular/commonly used Scottish Baby Names in the 1920s?
Writing a story and have a few - Elspeth for sure, and toying with Duncan and Kenneth for boys - but I've been searching for popular names in the 1920s or 1930s for children and haven't been able to find anything.
Almost everything that comes up is for England/Wales or the US, and I know from current baby name lists the names tend to differ drastically. Any suggestions?
